BARRS NEW MANAGER: St Finbarr's have named Brian Roche as their new football manager for the 2024 season after the departure of Paul O'Keeffe.

St Finbarr's have named Brian Roche as their new football manager for the 2024 season after the departure of Paul O'Keeffe.

Roche worked as a selector under O'Keeffe in the last campaign and was the strength and conditioning coach when the Togher club won the football championship in 2021.

Jimmy Barry-Murphy, St Finbarr's and Cork legend, will be part of the new management team as reported in the Echo.

The Cork great won six All-Irelands at inter-county level, five in hurling and will bring a vast wealth of experience to the role.

The rest of the management team will be announced in due course.
