The Sigerson Cup will throw in this evening with the words of Meath manager Colm O'Rourke ringing in the ears of all coaching teams.
O'Rourke, fearful of a repeat of last year's injuries to several of his overworked third level players, has stated that he will be monitoring this week's Round 1 games closely to ensure that his Royal County players aren't flogged.
