Tonight's meeting of Kilmacud Crokes and Ballyboden St Enda's in the Dublin Division One football league final has not gone ahead as planned.
The league decider, due to be played at Parnell Park this evening, was called off earlier today. In a post on social media at 10.30am, Dublin GAA said: "The Go-Ahead Adult Football League Division One final - due to take place this evening at Parnell Park - has now been called off."
Ballyboden made their own statement on the situation shortly after, highlighting the alleged reason for the game not going ahead.
"Unfortunately and regrettably, tonight’s Division One league final is OFF, as Kilmacud Crokes have informed the County Board that they cannot field a team."
Crokes - who defeated 'Boden in the Dublin SFC decider earlier in October - secured a historic Leinster SFC three-in-a-row on Saturday, after seeing off the challenge of Kildare champions Naas at Croke Park.
