Brian Cody returns to Croke Park this (FRIDAY) evening to launch the history of Cumann na mBunscol, “50 Bliain ag Fás – 50 Years of Gaelic Games in Primary Schools”.

Written by retired Limerick-based teachers Ciarán Crowe and Joe Lyons, the 840-page book charters the organised development of Gaelic games in primary schools from a meeting on the eve of the 1971 All-Ireland senior football final between Offaly and Galway.
