Preventing goalkeepers from taking quick puck-outs after wides would improve the game, according to Pat Ryan.

The Cork manager acknowledges what he says might appear to counter what is considered one of the county’s strengths in running with the ball. There would also be a school of thought that the more the ball is in play, the better the game.
