DOUBLE TEAM: Newcestown Gaa press evening ahead of the clubs 2023 Cork County Senior A Hurling and Football finals, at Newcestown Gaa, Newcestown. Picture: Jim Coughlan.

Should Newcestown successfully complete part one of their double bid on Sunday, the panel’s now regular spin to Garretstown beach for a spot of recovery will be as much for sore heads as it will sore bodies.

When you’re on the go for 10 weekends out of 11, recovery becomes every bit as important as the games themselves.
