Former Kildare manager and Kilkenny goalkeeper David Herity is joining the Tipperary senior management group as goalkeeping coach.
The five-time All-Ireland SHC winner is joining Liam Cahill’s set-up for the 2024 season.
The Dunnamaggin man stepped down as Kildare boss in July this year after five seasons at the helm in which he brought them to a Christy Ring Cup title in 2020 and ‘22 as well as promotion to Division 2A where they reached the final this year.
Herity announced his inter-county retirement in 2014 having played in all of that year’s championship games up to the final games against Tipperary.
The 40-year-old comes in as Pádraic Maher makes way from the management team due to work commitments.
Michael Bevans will again lead Cahill’s coaching team with selectors Declan Laffan and TJ Ryan on board once more.
