Almost three-quarters of hurlers who have played in the Joe McDonagh Cup want the All-Ireland preliminary quarter-finals retained.
Ahead of tomorrow’s Special Congress vote to do away with the last-six games in the Liam MacCarthy Cup, the Gaelic Players Association (GPA) have revealed hurlers in the second tier want the current-year link between the top two competitions retained.
