Waterford GAA has confirmed that Liam Cahill will continue as Waterford senior hurling manager for 2022, with an option for a further 12-month term.

The Irish Examiner reported earlier this week that Cahill had been offered the job as Tipp boss, and the Ballingarry clubman confirmed he had been approached by the Tipperary County Board. But while he was 'honoured' and 'grateful' for the approach, he has elected to remain with Waterford.
