Demand is already high for tickets as All-Ireland replay date announced

The GAA “could have sold 120,000 tickets for the final, without doubt”.

Dublin and Mayo will have to reschedule any holiday plans as the two counties must prepare for the trip back to Croke Park in October, writes Stephen Barry.

The first football final to go to a replay since Kerry and Galway in 2000 will be replayed on Saturday week, October 1, with a 5pm throw-in time.
