Dublin player reportedly received serious injuries in challenge match

There are reports that the player sustained a fractured eye socket and a broken nose in the incident which took place before the throw-in.

Dublin footballer Davey Byrne has been released from hospital after receiving a nasty injury in a recent challenge game with Armagh.
