Donegal recorded their third win of Division 3A of the Allianz Hurling League, while their were wins also for Fingal and Louth this afternoon.
Donegal claimed an impressive 4-14 to 1-20 win over Fermanagh at Brewster Park, Enniskillen, with a brace of goals in either half sending the visitors to victory.
Donegal led by 2-7 to 0-12 at half-time with Paddy Hannigan netting both of the first half goals.
Donegal failed to ease up on the restart with Lee Henderson scoring 0-7, while Steven Boyle and Enda McDermott added second half goals.
At Healy Park, Omagh; Fingal continued their unbeaten run thanks to a 2-11 to 0-15 win over Tyrone.
Tyrone led by 0-10 to 2-0 at half-time.
There was some turnaround in the second half, with the Red Hands held to just four points, as wind assisted Fingal tagged on 11 points to take victory.
At Dowdallshill, Dundalk; Louth ensured the only home win of the day in the late afternoon throw-in, with a 2-13 to 0-11 win over Monaghan.
The hosts staged a major second half comeback, after Monaghan had held a 0-9 to 1-3 interval lead, with Andrew Mackin netting the Louth goal.
Assisted by a strong wind on the restart, the Wee County turned their fortunes around in the second half, scoring 1-7 without reply inside 15 minutes of the restart.
Leading by 2-10 to 0-9 at this stage, Louth failed to ease up as they held out for an eight-point win, and finished with 15 men for the first time in the campaign.
