Cats make two changes
As anticipated, Kilkenny manager Brian Cody has made two changes to his team for Sunday's All-Ireland SHC semi-final against Tipperary at Croke Park (throw-in 3.30pm).
The fit-again Brian Hogan, who missed the win over Limerick with a burst blood vessel, returns at centre-back with Richie Doyle making way.
Kieran Joyce, Hogan's replacement for that quarter-final victory over the Shannonsiders, will start at left half-back this time.
The only other change in personnel sees TJ Reid come in for the suspended Richie Hogan at centre forward. Hogan was given a straight red card for striking Limerick's Sean Tobin during the counties' quarter-final tie.
KILKENNY (SHC v Tipperary): David Herity; Paul Murphy, JJ Delaney, Jackie Tyrrell; Tommy Walsh, Brian Hogan, Kieran Joyce; Michael Fennelly, Michael Rice; Henry Shefflin, TJ Reid, Eoin Larkin (capt); Colin Fennelly, Richie Power, Aidan Fogarty.
Subs: Eoin Murphy, Noel Hickey, Richie Doyle, Conor Fogarty, John Tennyson, Paddy Hogan, Cillian Buckley, Matthew Ruth, Walter Walsh, Mark Kelly, Joe Brennan.
