UCC and Dr Crokes will meet in the final of the AIB Munster Club Senior Football Championship on December 4, following their respective semi-final wins over Moyle Rovers and Kilmurry-Ibrickane this afternoon.

At Clonmel, a second half goal rush ensured UCC booked their place in the decider courtesy of a 5-12 to 1-5 defeat of Moyle Rovers.

Kerry duo Paul Geaney (2-5) and Gavin O'Grady were to the fore for the students in the opening half, scoring all of the Leeside outfit's first-half points between them as UCC led by 1-7 to 1-2 at the break.

Stephen O'Brien netted UCC's first half goal and they continued to go in search of green flags on the restart.

UCC impressively netted a hat-trick in a four-minute spell early in the second half with Geaney grabbing two goals, while an O'Brien three-pointer opened up a 4-7 to 1-3 lead. They failed to ease up with a fifth goal coming late on to confirm a 19-point win.

At Killarney, three unanswered points in the closing 10 minutes earned Dr Crokes a 0-12 to 0-9 victory over former Munster champions Kilmurry-Ibrickane of Clare.

Colm 'Gooch' Cooper delivered those crucial last three scores to book a final berth for Crokes.

Kilmurry-Ibrickane led by 0-6 to 0-5 at half-time, having held a 0-3 to 0-0 advantage after just two minutes.

It took nine minutes for Crokes to open their tally, with Kieran O'Leary very much on song. They edged into a 0-4 to 0-3 lead by the end of the opening quarter.

Kilmurry-Ibrickane led by 0-9 to 0-6 seven minutes into the second half, but Crokes closed out this game with six unanswered points.

Both sides finished the game with 14 players. Crokes' Daithi Casey was sent-off for his second bookable offence, while Enda Coughlan of Kilmurry received a straight red card five minutes from the end.
