'Big Jim' sticks with same side

Donegal manager Jim McGuinness has selected an unchanged team for Sunday's Ulster SFC semi-final against Tyrone at Clones (throw-in 3.30pm).

The same 15 players who started the recent quarter-final win over Cavan will take on the Red Hands. They will led again by captain Michael Murphy, who had his red card from that game rescinded.

Frank McGlynn, who has recovered from a hamstring injury, has failed to force his way back into the defensive unit. Meanwhile, Dermot Molloy, who scored 0-2 as a substitute last time out, and Michael Hegarty both miss out in attack.

Teenager Patrick McBrearty and Colm McFadden are listed alongside Murphy in the full-forward line, with Mark McHugh, who operated in the corner against Cavan, named at centre-forward.

Previewing the last four clash, McGuinness said: "We know Tyrone are a formidable challenge. Along with Armagh, they have been the top team in Ulster for over a decade.

"They are a very experienced side with multiple All-Ireland winners in their team. We know what we are up against and we have prepared as well as we can.

"All we can do is focus on our own game and get ourselves right and go out and produce our best on the day and hope it is good enough."

The winners of Sunday's tie will meet Derry in the Ulster final at Clones in three weeks' time. The losers will enter the All-Ireland qualifiers on Saturday, July 9.

DONEGAL (SFC v Tyrone): Paul Durcan; Karl Lacey, Neil McGee, Paddy McGrath; Kevin Cassidy, Anthony Thompson, Marty Boyle; Rory Kavanagh, Kevin Rafferty; Martin McElhinney, Mark McHugh, Ryan Bradley; Colm McFadden, Michael Murphy (capt), Patrick McBrearty.
