Ulster hurling final rescheduled
The Ulster SHC final between Antrim and surprise finalists Armagh has been moved back a week due to Antrim's involvement in the All-Ireland qualifiers.
The Ulster Council have confirmed that the provincial decider, which was due to take place on Sunday, June 26, will now go ahead on Sunday, July 3.
If Dinny Cahill's Saffrons beat Westmeath in their preliminary phase qualifier next weekend, they will meet Carlow on Saturday week (June 25).
Next Saturday's qualifiers will see Antrim hosting Westmeath at Casement Park (throw-in 3pm), while the Laois v Cork match will get underway at the same time in Portlaoise.
The winners from the Laois-Cork pairing will play Offaly the following Saturday - either Laois or Cork will have home advantage. Meanwhile, Carlow will be away to either Antrim or Westmeath on the same afternoon.
Phase 2 of the qualifiers, which will include the beaten Leinster semi-finalists (Wexford and Dublin or Galway) and beaten Munster semi-finalists (Limerick and Clare or Tipperary), will take place on Saturday, July 2.
On Saturday, July 9, the winners of the phase 1 games and the phase 2 ties will meet to decide who advances into the All-Ireland quarter-finals (July 24).
