Kilkenny's Henry Shefflin has paid tribute to former county colleague Martin Comerford who announced his retirement from inter-county hurling yesterday.

The 32-year-old won nine Leinster titles, six All-Ireland crowns and a trio of All-Star awards in 2002, 2003 and 2006.
