Donal Óg: I have no regrets

Cork hurling legend Donal Óg Cusack said he has no regrets about revealing he was gay in his autobiography a year ago.

Speaking to more than 500 school goers the Cloyne man told young people struggling with their sexual identities to come out to their friends and family who will be there to support them. The 33-year-old goalkeeper was addressing a Cork Mental Health Foundation conference at the Rochestown Park Hotel yesterday, which was also attended by 150 teachers.
