Injury worries for Offaly hurlers

Offaly hurling manager Joe Dooley has been forced to delay naming his starting line-up for Sunday's Leinster SHC semi-final against Galway, with a number of his players having sustained injuries in the past week.

Attacker Derek Molloy is a major doubt due to an ankle injury he picked up in training last week. He was unable to play in last Sunday's challenge match against Cork, which saw the midlanders defeated by the hosts on a 3-22 to 1-16 scoreline.

Defenders James Rigney and David Franks both injured themselves in that game, with Ballyskenagh clubman Franks sustaining a calf muscle injury and Rigney forced off with a groin problem.

Both players will undergo fitness tests later in the week.
