Draw pitches Armagh against Donegal

Armagh will face Donegal in the opening round of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship qualifiers, after the draw was made this evening live on RTE's Six One News.

The meeting of the Ulster rivals is the only clash between two teams from the same province, after GAA Director General Paraic Duffy and former Cork footballer Tony Davis drew the eight round 1 ties which will take place on Saturday, June 26.

After losing a tough extra-time battle against Dublin in this afternoon's Leinster SFC quarter-final encounter at Croke Park, Wexford will travel to London to face the Exiles.

Having lost their opening round Leinster tie to Louth, Carlow will take on Derry.

Beaten Leinster quarter-finalists Kildare will face Antrim, while Offaly will clash with Clare.

Meanwhile, Mayo manager John O'Mahony will hope his side can get their campaign back on track, against Longford.

After their close run defeat to Fermanagh last night, Cavan have been paired with Wicklow, while Tipperary will take on the loser of next Saturday's Meath v Laois replay.

The GAA's Central Competitions Control Committee will announce the dates, times and venues for all of the games tomorrow morning.
