Despite having midfielder Alan O'Connor sent-off after 29 minutes, Cork held out against Tyrone to set up their second All-Ireland Senior Football Championship final appearance in three years - something which delighted Rebels manager Conor Counihan.

"It (the sending off) made it a bit difficult already but in fairness to the lads they threw great heart and determination into it to ground out a result in the finish and thankfully we got a result out of it in the finish," he said.
