Meath unchanged for Limerick test
Meath manager Eamonn O'Brien has backed the team which beat Roscommon last weekend to do the business again in tomorrow's All-Ireland SFC qualifier against Limerick in Portlaoise (throw-in 7pm).
The fourth-round tie will see the Royals line up with a settled side, including Anthony Moyles at full-back, Nigel Crawford and Brian Meade in midfield and Joe Sheridan leading the attack, although he is expected to move to full-forward.
Indeed, O'Brien has only altered his team selection once in this summer's qualifiers, bringing fit-again captain Stephen Bray in for Shane McAnarney for the derby clash with Westmeath.
Kevin O'Reilly is still not fully recovered from a back injury, but the likes of Mark Ward and Jamie Queeney will hope to have some impact off the bench.
Meath will be all out for revenge after suffering a 4-12 to 4-3 defeat to Limerick in last year's qualifiers.
They look to have the firepower to do it, with Sheridan and David and Stephen Bray coming into form, and they have only conceded one goal in four outings in the 2009 Championship.
Wing back Seamus Kenny, part of that improved defensive effort, said: "We have waited twelve months to get another crack at Limerick and all the lads are looking forward to it.
"We've got some momentum coming into this weekend's game, with the wins over Waterford, Westmeath and Roscommon.
"We won't need any extra motivation for this one at all, and (having) a settled team helps."
