Freeman & McCormack seek hearings over bans

Tommy Freeman and Barry McCormack are contesting their respective recommended bans from the GAA's Central Competitions Control Committee.

Monaghan footballer Freeman is set to recieve an eight-week ban for 'attempting to strike with the head' in their opening match of the Ulster championship against Derry.

Armagh hurling McCormack is facing a four-week suspension for 'striking an opponent with the hand' when Armagh played Down at the end of May.
