Cork hurlers plan conference response
Cork's striking hurlers today indicated that a press conference would be held in the coming days in order to respond in detail to Tuesday night's hard-hitting statement by county hurling manager Gerald McCarthy.
McCarthy, in an attempt to draw a line under the dispute that has riven the Rebel hurling fraternity, had said that it was time to "move on", and that he would not be engaging in further negotations with the players following the failure of a talks process headed by solicitor Olann Kelleher.
