Bohane injury delays Kerry team selection
A back injury to Daniel Bohane has delayed Kerry's team selection for Sunday's Football All-Ireland Senior Championship semi-final clash with Cork.
Kerry manager Pat O'Shea was due to reveal his starting line-up last night, but will now not make it public until later today.
There is growing speculation that O'Shea may opt to start Bohane against Cork, even though he only made his championship bow as a substitute against Galway two weeks ago.
The Austin Stacks youngster brilliantly curbed the threat of Joe Bergin during the second half, helping Kerry shore up their defence and see out a 1-21 to 1-16 win.
Should Bohane recover from the back injury he sustained last weekend, he looks set to take over from Padraig Reidy in the Kingdom's rearguard.
Tommy Griffin, another substitute from the All-Ireland quarter-final, is also pushing for a starting place.
The straight swap of Eoin Brosnan for Donnacha Walsh might just prove to be the only change O'Shea makes for the all-Munster encounter.
Brosnan could bolster a Kerry half-forward line that has not functioned particularly well in recent games, with Colm Cooper notably struggling for form.
Seeking an All-Ireland three in-a-row this year, Kerry are hoping to qualify for their seventh All-Ireland final this decade - they only failed to do so in 2001 and 2003.
