GAA to hear fresh appeal against Galvin ban
Paul Galvin's battle against his six-month suspension is set to continue pending a fresh examination of his case by the GAA's Central Hearings Committee.
Yesterday, the Disputes Resolution Authority ruled that the CHC should examine the case again because its original hearing contained procedural irregularities.
A new hearing will be overseen by a different CHC panel, while Galvin will remain ineligible to play in the meantime.
The Kerry captain was banned for 24 weeks for slapping the referee's notebook out of his hand after being sent off against Clare in the Munster Championship.
