Galvin fails in appeal bid

Paul Galvin's attempt to have his high profile suspension reduced has failed - the Kerry captain's appeal against the six-month ban has been upheld by the GAA's Central Hearings Committee.

Galvin was accompanied to last night's hearing at Croke Park by Kerry County Secretary Eamonn O'Sullivan.
