One change for Galway ahead of Kerry game

Galway senior football manager Liam Sammon makes one notable change for Sunday's National League outing against Kerry.

The enforced team alteration is due to the loss of midfielder Joe Bergin with an achilles tendon injury sustained in last Sunday's win over Mayo.

Niall Coleman takes over his position for this Sundays home tie at Pearse Stadium in an otherwise unchanged team that secured the one-point win over John O' Mahoney’s side.

Bergin required an operation and is now facing a four-month period of rehabilitation on the sidelines.

Michael Meehan's thoughts are with his fellow countyman as they prepare to take on the 2007 All Ireland Senior Football champions.
