GAA approves scheme to implement Govt player grants

The GAA's Central Council today unanimously approved of the finalised scheme for Government funding to meet additional costs associated with inter county participation.

The scheme will be discussed at the Annual Congress in April.

The GAA also approved of discussions with the AFL to revive the much maligned International Rules series.
