McGuigan return imminent for Tyrone

Almost 900 days after he last pulled on the Tyrone jersey, former All-Star Brian McGuigan is set for a return for the Red Hands after the 28-year-old received the all-clear to resume training with his county.

McGuigan who won All-Ireland medals in 2003 and 2005, broke his leg in 2006 and his woes were further compounded last May when he suffered an horrific eye injury. However, the Ardboe man is on his way to a full recovery after a meeting with his surgeon early this week, which gave him the all-clear to return to action.
