GPA to announce result of player strike ballot

The Gaelic Players Association is due to announce the results of its strike ballot later today.

The association has arranged the vote due to the delay in implementing the proposed Government player welfare grant.

If the vote is in favour of a strike, it could lead to players withdrawing from all inter-county competitions next year.
