Player of the Month awards for Brennan and Cooper

Eddie Brennan (Kilkenny) and Colm Cooper (Kerry) have won the Gaelic Player of the Month awards for September in hurling and football respectively.

Brennan’s man of the match performance in the All Ireland hurling final against Limerick helped the Cats to their 30th All Ireland title.

Cooper scored an impressive 1-5 against Cork in the All Ireland football final to help ensure the Kingdom retained the Sam Maguire cup.
