Antrim make two changes for historic clash

Experienced Dunloy forward Paddy Richmond will hope to spearhead the Antrim attack when they meet on-form Dublin in tonight's historic NHL Division 1B tie (Casement Park, throw-in 7pm).

Tonight's game is the first ever competitive hurling fixture to be played under the floodlights at Casement Park.

The Antrim management have made two changes in personnel to the side that lost to Kilkenny last weekend. Richmond and goalkeeper Ryan McGarry are the new inclusions, with Kevin Elliott and DD Quinn making way.

Wing back Elliott was forced off with an injury in Sunday's defeat to the Cats.

Ciaran Herron drops back from midfield to take Elliott's place in the half-back line, Karl McKeegan takes over at centre-field, while Richmond's inclusion at full-forward sees Karl Stewart moved out to the left wing.

Meanwhile, it has been revealed that Liam Watson has been dropped from the Antrim panel for disciplinary reasons.

The Saffrons management have yet to go public on the exact reason for the Loughgiel forward's axing but he will not be selected "for the foreseeable future".

ANTRIM (NHL v Dublin) - R McGarry, B McAuley, M McCambridge, S Delargy (capt), M Molloy, J Campbell, C Herron, K McKeegan, B Herron, M Herron, N McManus, K Stewart, B McFall, P Richmond, P Shields.
