Down manager Gerard Coulter has been forced to make two changes to his side for Sunday's NHL Division 1A encounter with Offaly (Birr, throw-in 2.30pm).

Ciaran Coulter is on the injury list and his place at full-back has gone to Kilclief clubman Fintan Conway, a former Under-21 star.

Emmet Trainor, who showed some nice touches when coming off the bench to score two points against Clare two weeks ago, will start at full-forward this weekend in place of Ciaran Sloan.

Sunday's game offers both sides a chance to open their win accounts for the 2007 league - Offaly lost to Cork a fortnight ago in their opener.

The Faithfuls, who have yet to announce their team, are definitely without teenage attacker Shane Dooley.

The son of former Offaly favourite Joe Dooley broke his finger while playing for Athlone IT in the Fitzgibbon Cup earlier this week.

DOWN (NHL v Offaly) - Graham Clarke; L Clarke, S Murray, F Conway; M Ennis, P Hughes, Gabriel Clarke; A Savage, B McGourty; E McGuinness, G Johnson, D Flynn; M Coulter, E Trainor, E Clarke.
