Laois defender to miss rest of the season

Laois corner back Rory Stapleton is expected to miss his side's remaining National Football League fixtures due to a dislocated elbow.

The 21-year-old sustained the injury in last Sunday's Division 1B draw with Louth in Portlaoise - he actually collided with his team-mate Joe Higgins just 20 minutes into the game - and after examination, he is facing a lengthy lay-off.
