GAA player welfare spend to increase

The GAA announced today that a significant increase will be made in relation to spending in the area of player welfare this year.

As the cost of funding GAA teams continues to grow each season, GAA President Nickey Brennan today gave a commitment that he and the Central Council are fully supportive of increasing team grants across the board this year.
