Ollie Canning ends Galway career

Galway defender Ollie Canning has opted to end his inter-county career just days after Ger Loughnane axed him from the Tribesmen's latest panel.

Canning, who turns 31 this year, failed to make the cut for Loughnane's 35-man National Hurling League squad.
