Daly quits as Banner boss

Anthony Daly has officially stepped down as Clare hurling manager.

The 36-year-old had been in charge for three seasons, having skippered the Banner to two All-Ireland titles in 1995 and 1997.

Daly informed County Board Chairman Michael McDonagh of his decision this evening.
