Duffy back for Orchard men
Wing back Paul Duffy has given Armagh a boost ahead of their Ulster SFC semi-final replay against Fermanagh on Sunday.
The 22-year-old is expected to be named in the Orchard side for the Clones cruncher. He has made a full recovery from the groin injury which sidelined him for the drawn game on June 11.
Armagh boss Joe Kernan will make minimal changes as he bids to keep his charges on track for a fourth Anglo Celt Cup in five seasons.
JP Donnelly should make way for Duffy, Paul Hearty will continue in goal as Ciaran McKinney is being excused due to a family illness, but midfielder Philip Loughran is still struggling with an Achilles injury he picked up last month.
Meanwhile, the Galway football squad have jetted off to Spain today as they seek some sun, sand and training in the build-up to next month's Connacht SFC final.
Far from impressive winners over Roscommon last weekend, Galway boss Peter Ford is taking his players to La Manga for a week-long training stint. They will face the winners of Sunday's semi-final showdown between Mayo and Leitrim on July 16.
Ford will have gleaned little from the performance against Roscommon, but the successful return from injury of midfielder-cum-forward Joe Bergin did offer some encouragement.
