Mayo without McGarrity
Basketball commitments mean midfielder Ronan McGarrity will play no part in Mayo's NFL Division 1A clash with Dublin tonight (Parnell Park, throw-in 7.45pm).
The 6ft 4in McGarrity is due to line out for Merry Monk Ballina in this afternoon's Nivea For Men SuperLeague semi-finals in Cork.
Manager Mickey Moran has made two changes to the Mayo side from last week's NFL victory over Cork.
With McGarrity absent, Castlebar's Barry Moran, who lined out for the Mayo Under-21s against Leitrim last week, comes in to partner James Gill at centre-field. The other switch sees Breaffy clubman Alan Durcan replace Alan Costello at left corner forward.
The impressive Ger Brady starts at centre forward despite tweaking his hamstring against Cork.
Top-scoring attacker Conor Mortimer continues his eight-week suspension, handed down to him by the GAA's Higher Education Authority. Mortimer was reported for his verbal abuse of referee Pat McGovern whilst playing for DCU against NUI Galway in a colleges match earlier this month.
He took his appeal to the Disputes Resolution Authority, but was unsuccessful.
Top-of-the-table Mayo need just a point from their final two top flight games against Dublin and Tyrone (April 9) to guarantee themselves a spot in the semi-finals.
