Derry remain on top of Division 1B after a measured win over Kildare at Celtic Park.

The sides were locked level at 0-05 at the interval. Having gone 0-02 to 0-04 down, Kildare roared back with points from Tadhg Fennin (free), Karl Ennis and David Lyons.

Paddy Bradley kicked three straight points to push Derry ahead. Kildare then lost John Divilly to a second yellow card. They rallied with points from Fennin and Dermot Earley, who was forced off with a shoulder injury, but Bradley’s fifth of the afternoon sealed a third win on the trot for the Oak Leafers.
