McEneaney continues at Monaghan helm
Seamus McEneaney, brother of top inter-county referee Pat, has been re-appointed as manager of the Monaghan senior footballers.
McEneaney, who led the Farney men to the 2005 National League Division Two title and a place in the latter stages of the All-Ireland qualifiers, was unanimously sanctioned at Monday's county committee meeting.
A former Under-21 boss, McEneaney replaced Colm Coyle at the helm last October. Previously, he steered his home club Corduff to Intermediate Championship success in 1988, while also helping Monaghan Harps to club success.
Selectors Gerry McCarville, Gerard Hoey and Bernie Murray are expected to remain on under McEneaney for 2006.
Also at the county committee meeting, Eamonn O'Hara was returned to office as manager of the Under-21s, while Paddy Bates was retained at minor boss.
