The race to find a new Donegal football manager seems to be at an end with Brian McIver set to be confirmed as the official winner.

Tyrone native McIver, who guided Ballinderry to the All-Ireland club title in 2002, was recommended and appointed to succeed Brian McEniff, who resigned on July 5, at a meeting of the Donegal county executive on Friday night.
