GAA task force seeks changes to disciplinary procedures
A GAA task force has recommended changes to the way the association deals with disciplinary matters.
The body has recommended that the Games Administration Committee be split into two separate units, one to look after fixtures and the other to deal with disciplinary issues.
It said any appeals against disciplinary decisions should then go to a new central appeals committee.
If the matter had still not been resolved at this stage, the task force said, the case should be reviewed by a fully independent arbitration committee made up of 45 qualified lawyers.
