Limerick hope to build on NHL win
Limerick travel to face Wexford today in Division 1B of the National Hurling League, hoping for more league points after picking up their first win of the campaign last weekend.
New boss Joe McKenna has made three changes from the team that trounced Down last weekend.
Army cadet Andrew O'Shaughnessy, who was unavailable last weekend, returns at right corner-forward, while Pat Tobin and Michael Cahill, who were introduced from the bench last weekend, retain their places.
Defender TJ Ryan remains on the injured list, while forwards Donncha Sheehan and Donie Ryan are omitted. Portumna club hurler Ger Heagney is also named on the bench.
Meanwhile, Wexford boss Seamus Murphy has made two changes to the side that defeated Tipperary last time out.
Rory McCarthy, who replaced the injured Colm Kehoe in last weekend's victory over the Premier County, retains his place at right wing-back and Malachy Travers moves to corner-back.
Mitch Jordan returns after being unavailable last weekend. He replaces dual player Redmond Barry at top of the right. Barry will line out with the footballers as they take on Down. Declan Ruth continues at full-back.
Cork manager John Allen will rest most of his All-Ireland-winning team for today's match against Down.
Brian Murphy, John Gardiner, Brian Corcoran and Kieran Murphy are the sole members of September's starting line-up who are selected for today's tie.
Martin Coleman replaces Paul Morrissey between the sticks, Peter Kelly moves to right wing-back, with Kevin Hartnett on the other flank. Graham Callinan is chosen at midfield.
Paul Tierney comes in to lead the attack, with Neil Ronan moving to left wing-forward. They replace the McCarthys - Niall and Timmy respectively. James Bowles comes in at top of the right.
Down make three changes for the clash against the Rebels.
Ballycran duo Andrew Bell and John Doherty come into the defence and Emmett Trainor starts in the half-forward line.
Bell comes in for Liam Clarke, who is on honeymoon, and Doherty takes over from the injured Paddy Moran.
Trainor replaces youngster Brendan McGourty, who is out through illness.
All Star Eoin Kelly makes his first league start of the season for Tipperary as the Premier County take on Antrim.

Brendan Cummins returns to goal in place of Damien Young, and Eamonn Corcoran returns to wing-back after injury, replacing Hugh Moloney.
Tom King comes in for Colin Morrissey at midfield, while in attack, John Devane and Eoin Kelly return in place of Tadhg Slevin and Evan Sweeney.
Paddy Richmond, Karl McKeegan and Colm McGuickian are expected to return from injury today for the northerners.
However, Liam Richmond (back), Michael Magill (shoulder), Brian McFall (knee), Conor Cunning (knee) and Liam Watson (knee) are still on the treatment table.
