Donegal upset champions Kerry
Donegal 1-10 Kerry 1-09
All-Ireland champions Kerry were defeated for the second time in the league today as Ballybofey rocked to the sound of Donegal's first win of the campaign.
Colm McFadden turned in a man-of-the-match performance as he rounded All-Star goalkeeper Diarmuid Murphy to finish to a great goal late in the first half.
The Donegal marksman hit 1-02 in all as the visitors lost out - despite an Eoin Brosnan goal at the other end.
The Ulstermen led 1-05 to 0-06 at the break with Ryan Bradley, Rory Kavanagh and Michael Hegarty - both with a brace - on target for them, with the Kingdom's replies coming from Dara O Cinneide (0-03) Colm Cooper, Ronan O' Connor and Declan Quill.
Brosnan's 47th-minute goal squared up the match for a third time.
Closing scores from Christy Toye and impressive half-forward Hegarty - who finished with 0-03 - saw Brian McEniff's men weather that storm and move second-from-bottom, ahead of Offaly.
