Kerry under-strength for Tipp clash

National League, Munster and All-Ireland champions Kerry will field an under-strength side in Sunday's O'Byrne Cup clash against Tipperary in Clonmel.

The Kingdom men have only returned from a holiday in Mexico and boss Jack O'Connor is set to give fringe players a chance.

The management will select their side tonight and Mike Quirke, Seamus Scanlon, Donal Daly and Kieran Donaghy could be in line for a place in the starting line-up.

Seamus Moynihan and Darragh Ó Sé will not be considered and neither will the players who are travelling on the Allstars tour to Hong Kong next week.
