Hurling Championship not a two-horse race - Shefflin
Kilkenny ace marksman Henry Shefflin has rubbished suggestions that next year's All-Ireland hurling championship will be a two-horse race between Cork and Kilkenny.
Despite either the Rebels or the Cats taking the last four All-Ireland titles, the former hurler of the year says next year's competition will still be impossible to predict.
He said: "There has to be favourites in every competition but to suggest it's between two teams is crazy.
"There are 10 teams that could win it and any of those sides can beat anyone on their day. Any team that gets on a run and finds its rhythm will challenge."
He also pointed out that neither Cork nor Kilkenny won their respective provincial finals this year.
