Crossmaglen defeat Mayobridge in the Ulster club final

Armagh champions Crossmaglen Rangers proved that there is no substitute for experience when they overcame Down champions Mayobridge at Casement Park this afternoon to win the Ulster Senior Football Championship.

Mickey Linden had to go off after only ten minutes with an injury and his loss was a huge blow to his young side.

Oisin McCoville had a fine afternoon scoring six points overall and the Armagh men’s fierce tackling and great use of the open spaces overall led to their success and one step nearer to Croke Park on St Patricks day.
