Cork County hurling champions Na Piarsaigh, have nominated Seán Óg Ó hAilpín as the Cork senior hurling captain for the 2005 season, the Evening Echo newspaper reported today.

Cork County hurling champions Na Piarsaigh, have nominated Seán Óg Ó hAilpín as the Cork senior hurling captain for the 2005 season, the Evening Echo newspaper reported today.

The paper said a source close to the club confirmed the popular star would be the club’s choice for the position.
